Buffer sessions

Buffer sessions are a time cushion for unexpected events: field trips, unscheduled exams, days lost to illness or any activity that disrupts the calendar.

In the PlanWizard you can choose between 4 presets:

• None: No buffer margin (0%)
• Tight: A small margin (~5% of total sessions)
• Normal: The recommended standard margin (~10%)
• Generous: A wide margin (~15%)

You can also set a custom percentage.

Buffer sessions appear in your calendar marked with a different colour. If you haven't needed them by the end of the course, you can convert them into regular sessions from the sessions panel to make use of that extra time.
